Our lunch menu is cooked and individually designed for us by Caterlink in consultation with the headteachers of several other Alton schools. All our meals are freshly cooked in our school kitchen and lunch menus provide a healthy and balanced lunch with an emphasis on home-cooked choices rather than convenience foods. Allergies and other dietary requirements can be catered for, but do please contact the school office for further information if required. Under the Government's Universal Infant Free School Meal, EVERY child at Alton Infant School can have, and is entitled to, a free cooked meal every day. However, children can also bring a packed lunch into school. This can be for the whole week or for part of the week, should your child also want to also have a cooked meal (see above) during the rest of the week.  Please make sure that your child's packed lunch does not contain nuts, nut products, sweets or chocolate. Lunchtime Supervision

We have a fantastic team of Lunchtime Play Leaders who play with, look after and supervise the children throughout the lunch break. On very wet days the children enjoy activities in their own classroom.
